Carl was really ready to get back up to the room to talk to Steve and Janet to figure out what the heck those
two where up to, but unfortunately he had about 20 more pages of documents to fill out for Jon and Wendy was
starting to give him the stink eye. So quickly and without complaining he finished filling out the rest of the
papers. Most of it was actually kind of fun making up parts of himself for the profile, interests, and the
like, although he did have to cheat off of Wendy to fill out the things that had to be the same like doctor
info, parents, contact numbers, etc... Finally they finished the paperwork, shook hands with Jon and his lady
friends (who seemed to want to hang out with them some more) and went back to their room. For the first time
this weekend Carl was the one in the rush and was practically pulling Wendy back to the room to talk to Steve
and Janet. When they got back they were welcomed by Steve and Janet in their normal forms packing up to go
back home the next morning.
"Ah man, I was hoping I'd get the chance to hang out more with Johnny." Carl said sounding genuinely
disappointed.
"You know that wasn't the real thing right?" Janet said
"Yeah I know, but still..." Carl said sheepishly. "By the way, who was who?"
"At dinner that was me you were fawning over," Steve said with a chuckle, "but we'd been switching back and
forth all day. But after we managed to duck out from the paparazzi on the way here we decided it would be best
to just change back to normal."
"Back to normal, what a novel idea." Carl said giving his wife a little bit of a pleading look. Wendy kissed
Carl(y) on the cheek and said "Sure thing, I did promise after all," and with that Carl was finally back to
his normal self. Well mostly, Wendy seemed to have made some adjustments that made him look more like he was
in his mid-twenties. Carl gave his wife a questioning look, Wendy shrugged and said, "Well I'm planning on
looking like this until Big Brother is over and I might as well get used to it. And I thought it would make
you more comfortably to be closer to my current age." It was a flimsy excuse but Carl wasn't going to complain
about his or his wife's new found youth. He looked to Janet and Steve and said, "What about you two? Don't you
want to join in on the fountain of youth."
Janet said, "It's actually something we talked about, we decided we might do that for...certain activities.
But honestly we feel more comfortable looking like this. We may change our minds in a could of years when I'm
going grey and Steve is going bald" "Hey!" "Just kidding honey. We'll just worry about becoming young again
when we really need it I guess I'm saying."
"Nothing wrong with that," Wendy said
"Okay, so you've got to tell us about what the heck happened that led you two to get cast on Big Brother!"
Janet said to Wendy
"Only after you tell me what happened to get you to decide to impersonate a baseball player."
While the two ladies told each other the events of the day Steve pulled Carl over for a sidebar. "So, you're
going to be Carly for Big Brother? Are you okay with this? You're not being forced into it?"
Carl thought about it for a minute, "I'm doing this for Wendy. I really don't want to do it. I hate the idea
of it. But...I haven't always been the greatest guy for Wendy, and I just thought that this would sort of make
things up to her. So I am ok with. I will try to play and win, but mostly I just want to help Wendy achieve
her dreams. Think about that, I get to help my wife's dream come true, isn't that what every husband wants for
his wife."
Steve nodded, "You're right. But just remember this whole Big Brother thing is a want, not a need. If you
think it's going to help out your relationship with Wendy, you really should go for it. Just make sure it's
not going to cause more bad than good."
Carl sat back and thought about what Steve told him, "I'll think about that." And with that he left to go pack
his and Wendy's things for the trip back home tomorrow where he would have a month as himself before Big
Brother would come knocking.
