Hans Nordblad is a foreign exchange student from Sweden. He’s about 5’7’’ feet tall and weighs around 140 pounds. He’ dark blond, has blue eyes with a little grey in them and a pair of oval glasses rests on his nose. He’s not very well built and despite this he has been given the nickname “Bear” for some unknown reason. He majors in Supernatural communication, specializing in animals. He’s sharing a room with another foreign exchange student, Manfred Rohleder from Germany, a pale blond, very long and rather muscular guy.
Hans lie in his bed and stares into the ceiling. For some reason the temperature won’t go down, not even when he opened a window. He listens to the footsteps that can be heard from the corridor occasionally. He tries not to think too much, as this make is attempts to go to sleep even more difficult. But this task proves impossible as he worries about the exam in his transformation class this morning. He suddenly reminds himself of one time when his spell backfired and gave himself yellow eyes. He has never been any good at transforming things, even though it’s one of his favourite subjects and this is because have has always wanted to be able to change into a canine at will. He has trained the whole evening to change himself into a wolf for his exam, but he didn’t even manage to give himself a tail. He swallows and bits his lip as he feels deeply disappointed because of this. I’m going to fail an exam in my favourite subject. He thinks to himself. He kicks off the bed sheet in hope of becoming a little cooler and sighs. As he looks down at his body that he hasn’t been able to transform he can’t help staring in wonderment. His skin looks all strange, it’s too dark. He reaches out his arm and tries to find his glasses without taking his eyes of his body.
A gasp escapes his lips as he puts on his glasses. “I’ve done it!” He exclaims in his native tongue as he watches his now fairly wolf like body. Black fur grows on every inch of his body. He rolls over to his hands and feet and stands on all fours in the bed to make it a bit easier for himself when he’s a full wolf. He breathes heavily as he watches the transformation move up from his lower body up to his chest and arms. Hans looks back and laughs in pure joy as he discovers his own tail. By this time his head is the only thing human. He smiles and closes his eyes, trying to enjoy the muzzle stretching of his face to the fullest. “I’ve done it! I’m not going to fail the test!” Exclaims to the world before his head changes completely and his glasses fall off from his muzzle. He leans his head back and lets out a howl. The teachers are going to get pissed at me for howling in the middle of the night, but I don’t care! He thinks before howling once more. Suddenly he hears his roommate call for him. “Hans. Hans! HANS!”
“Huh? What?” Hans opens his and the first thing he sees is his roommate’s face leaning over him. “You were howling in your sleep. You’re really strange, you know that Hans?” Manfred says and walks away from the sofa Hans is sitting in. He turns his head and looks tiredly at the TV. “You guys gonna listen to Garry?! I mean he could be one of those things!” One of the characters says in the movie that’s currently on the Television set. “Don’t you have your Astrology class right now? Why are you just sitting there sleeping?” Manfred asks as he makes himself a sandwich. Suddenly Hans remember everything as his mind begins to wake up for real. “No, it got cancelled. Professor Mcloud is sick today and I figured I needed some time since I was up studying all night for the transformation exam. And since I’m going to fail anyway I might as well watch a movie and rest these last three hours before the exam. There’s no way I’m going to learn how to do a full transformation in three hours” Manfred eats his sandwich and nods thoughtfully. “So what movie are you watching?” He says, trying to change the subject. He walks over to the couch and watches to television. “You’re watching that movie again? I thought you looked at it last week? It’s such an awful movie”
“No, the last time I looked at it was three months ago and you can watch movies several times. Especially this one, it’s a horror classic and one of my favourite movies of all times” Hans sighs at his roommate’s ignorance. Now, what should I do? Hans thinks to himself.
