Turning jerome trotted back towards the barn, the wild thoughts making jerome's equine body flush with heat. As Jerome walked down the center isle between the stall's that lined each side. His mind was filled with images of stallions mounting mares. It was very dark with the stables, but Jerome's equine eye's could make out detail. Suddenly from over a low stall door a big head reached out, the stallion's strong teeth grasping the back of Jerome's equine neck! Squealing and whinning in surprise and fright Jerome bucked and jumped pulling away from the stallion's bite. This of course awoke the other horse's, who began to squeal and whinny. Jerome had begun heading down the isle towards the mare's stall a second time. When the stable's lights flickered on, a half dressed Cliff stepped out into the isle.
"Whats going on?" He muttered still grogging from sleep. "Now how did you get out?" He asked as his eye's focused on Jerome's new equine form. Taking a lead rope down from a near by stall door, he quickly flipped a loop around Jerome's neck. "Come on we'll get you home again." He whispered soothingly into one of Jerome's pointed ears as he put the horse into a empty stall. Closing the stall door, he flipped the latch over and pegged it. "There you won't be getting out of there." Cliff assured. "We'll take you visiting tomarrow at breeding time!" These last words puzzling and exciting Jerome all at once...............
