I don't know how long I stayed in the lamp; thinking about what I'd done to that burglar. Like Jamie had done
to me, I changed his life forever without his consent. Now instead of being a man; he was now the wife of a
rich man.
After a while, I decided it was best to stop thinking about it; so I got up and poofed myself out of the lamp.
Once back in Erin's room, I found her playing a card game with Jamie. It would seem that Jamie hadn't left;
probably hoping to talk to me about what I'd done.
Glancing over to me, Erin said, "I was wondering when you'd be back."
"Sorry about that; I-I just needed to be alone for a while." sighing, I said, "What have you two been doing?"
Gesturing to her cards, Jamie said, "Erin's been teaching me some card games; so far we've played poker, gin
and go fish."
"Good to see you're adjusting, Jamie." pausing, I said, "I just wish the same could be said for me."
"We talked about that while you were in the lamp." turning to me, Jamie said, "As I said earlier; you may have
improved that man's life without realizing it."
"How can you say that?" shocked, I said, "I turned him into a woman!"
"Yes, you did. But," walking over to me, Jamie said, "Who's to say being a wife isn't better than a life of
crime?"
"I-I hadn't thought of that." pausing, I said, "I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens."
Jamie stayed for a little while longer; before grabbing her things and leaving. I spent some more time with
Erin before heading across the street; no doubt my family wanted to spend time with me.
