Brandon got into fights a lot. His high school wanted to enroll him in a
all-boys military camp for the whole
summer to try to change his behavior. Brandon's parents didn't really
care much for Brandon and once they heard
that the school would pay for it and that Brandon wouldn't be around
them for the whole summer, they signed him
up in a heartbeat.
Brandon looked like the average, straight 17 year old guy. He had medium
length black hair and had a husky build
from his huge appetite and his love of junk food. He had a girlfriend
before but they broke up a couple months
ago and Brandon was over it by now.
Brandon's parents had driven him to the bus to camp, threw Brandon and his
stuff out and drove away without
thinking twice.
"Those bastards" Brandon said under his breath as a man in a camo
uniform camp over to him.
"Whats your name" He said in a loud voice.
"Brandon"
"Full name you little prick" he said even louder than he did before.
"Brandon Scott" mumbled.
"Look here," The man said. "Your here because your parents couldn't
stand you and signed you up for a full-
summer military camp. So keep up this attitude, your only gonna make
it harder on yourself. Do I Make Myself
Clear!"
"Yes sir" Brandon said
"Enjoy your hair for now, because as soon as we get there, I get to
personally shave it off. Now get your ass
on that bus" He said while pointing to the bus.
Brandon did as the man said and got on the bus. He sat down next to a
smaller guy that seemed to be only a year
younger than Brandon.
"How'd you get yourself stuck here" he said.
"One too many fights" Brandon mumbled
"Same here" he said. "I'm Ryan"
"Brandon"
"Nice to meet ya Brandon"
Ryan was about 3 inches smaller than Brandon and he didn't have as much
muscle but you could tell he's been in a
couple of fights from the scars on his face. He had brown hair that
wasn't as long as Brandon's was.
"You from Calgary or are you here from Saskatchewan?" He said
"I'm from Calgary" Brandon said
"Well, its a long drive to BC" Enjoy your last moments for freedom."
Ryan said as the bus pulled away from the
buss station and got on the highway
