nOW AS ANY STUDENT OF HISTORY IN THE 33rd century can tell you,that
Pacific island owned by Morbius Tungsten was as old as the Earth itself,which
was a fact canny Morbius had known and why he'd bought the island.
He had been hoping that locked in that island's rock were trace elements
formed at the time of the Big Bang.
And there were,the Earth's only undiscovered mine of chronite,the crystal needed
to operate time ships,star liners and other high tech Earth technologies
from the 27th century onwards,when warp and hyperlight drives suffered the fate
of horses in the earlier 20th century,reduced to yard sales ,bargain bins and put
out to pasture.
So although the Tungsten's were unawares of what they had on that island,
you can bet your bottom dollar everyone from the 27 th century onwards,both on Earth and
in surrounding star systems was keeping a eye
on the Tungsten family.
Now that bodyguard was actually a dragon robot from Sirius VI sent back in time
from the 33rd century to monitor this chunk of time,and protect the Tungsten's
from the Enemy.
Now the TransBooth itself was nothing more then a device that altered a video image
of the person its seeing-eye camera captured into a different video image.
A fact a bored Jason Tungsten quickly discovered as the video morphing software
in the TransBooth altered the video image of Jasons face to look like a scaly
toothy gremlin.
Soon the video screen shifted to the pitch,which was to sell the customer
a DVD of the movie "Gremlins 5"
Jason popped in his daddys credit card and out popped the $10 DVD
A bit dissapointed ,Jason left the mall and headed back to the
Rolls Swiftfire car his bodyguard ( who appeared perfectly human
whilst he was incamapfloug-morph mode) sat in,apparently bored,but
in actuality scanning a 1 lightyear radius around Earth for any
approaching chronite battlecruisers,both friendly and not...
