You look around trying to figure out which way you came from or to see a trail that might lead you anywhere. This is a nice forest, but you don't want to be lost. Unfortunately, that is exactly what you are. You sit down on a log to consider your options and try to deciede what direction to go. You pull out your cellphone, but there is no signal in this dense forest. You return the phone to your pocket and absentmindedly put your hands on the log on either side of you as you try to deciede which direction to go.
That's when you feel it: a sharp prick on your hand. You instictively jerk your hand away, but it's too late. You look down to see the culprit on the log next to you.
