Robin shook her head sympathetically. "I'm sorry... what was your name again"
"Daniel!" Daniel shouted his name, as if trying to confirm his identity. To keep himself from changing. "I'm Daniel!"
"I'm sorry, Daniel. There's nothing I can do for you." Robin sunk back into herself, not wanting to see another change.
Daniel stared at his tingling hands. They started to throb. His white fingers began to contract and seize, his knuckles blowing up bit by bit.
The palms and backs of his hands began to expand, as though they were a pair of rubber gloves somebody had blown up to resemble a cow's udder. His supple wrists maintained their shape, tapering into what were now oversized balloons. He wiggled his fingers, but he could no longer form a fist.
"Nooo! My hands... I still had my hands!"
Daniel held his hands up, compelled to do so by his rapidly mutating body. He didn't know why and he really didn't care. He put his hands up in front of his face, his arms forming two L shapes. His hands puffed up further, growing larger and consuming his fingers. The heel of each hand began to flatten out, and Daniel could see his hands rapidly becoming a pair of oversized cupcakes.
His middle fingers, though, began to elongate. The rest of them disappeared into a rounding top mass... Frosting bubbled up from the surfaces of his cupcake hands. It churned and popped, pink in color. Spilled out upon and over itself from somewhere within his cake body, spiraling itself up nice and pretty around his last remaining finger.
Less human than ever, Daniel openly sobbed as he held up a pair of pink and white cupcakes where his arms ended. He wiggled his middle fingers a little before they became rigid. Tiny wicks poked out from the fingertips.
