While Circe is chatting with the intruder you look around. You see that when you bit the man on the ankle he dropped a burlap sack. You pull walk over to it and stick your nose inside. In it there are several pieces of silverware, some candle sticks, and various other things that you're fairly certain he didn't leave his home with this morning. You grab it by the edge and pull it into Circe's view.
"Well well, What's this?" Circe says pointing to what you've just shown her. The man turns around and spots the bag. He looks a bit like a deer caught in the headlights for a moment, but you suspect a different fate will befall him.
"That's mine." he says.
"So you admit it?" she asks.
"No no no, I mean that I left the house with it this morning. I was sneaking into your house here to give it to you." he says "I'm kind of a reverse burglar." he says still stammering. He backs up a few paces. You decide to help Circe out again but placing yourself just behind him as he backs away. He trips over you and lands on his back. He quickly props himself up on his elbows.
"I think you're just the opposite of a 'reverse burglar'." Circe says.
"Okay, I'll give them back." he says grabbing the bag and handing it to her. She shakes her head
"Oh no, dear, those things are yours now. As is the curse that goes with them." she says smiling. Before he can ask what she means the man saw his fingers turning black and his nails grew into claws. He opens his hand and lets the bag drop. He brings his hands up to his face and watches at they get thinner and rodent-like. Grey fur begins growing down his arms. Thick grey fur that spreads up his arms and down his chest. His clothes split at the seams and begin showing more and more of his furry skin. When he screams in terror, you can see his teeth are changing. His nose blackens as the fur crawls up his neck and around his cheeks. He stands up and turns to run, but his body shifts right at that moment, his front paws slamming into the earth as a tail bursts from his rear. It's shortly after this that his clothes give up the ghost, falling down all around him. He stands up and you can see his hands going to his face. When he turns around you can see the last few vestiges of his humanity disappear, his human face. The last thing you see change are his eyes. He emits several chitters and squeaks.
"Much too big, for a raccoon." she says and with a wave he shrinks to the size of a regular raccoon. She laughs as his claws and head move about trying to take in every aspect of his new form. Circe blinks at the bag and suddenly it's empty. The raccoon just stands there terrified.
"Go." she says "The whole of the grounds are yours. But if you go beyond the river your mind will revert to a raccoons forever." She warns. With that he runs off. His clothing becomes the grass, as does the burlap sack he was carrying.
"You did well." Circe says to you.
