Joe had a hard time telling how long it has been since that man in the labcoat left him alone. His senses were
all over the place; almost as if he was on some kind of crazy acid trip. He felt the pain continuing to surge
through his body, assuming that the strange red liquid was mixing into his blood and distributing itself
through the rest of himself.
Joe looked back to his claws, and saw that he's scratched several deep gashes into the chair that kept him in
place. It wasn't enough to free him, but he was surprised that he could manage to scratch through metal
armrests. He saw that his hands seemed a lot scalier, too. Just what was that red liquid, anyways?
Just then, a cackling voice rang out from one of the opened doors.
"Ahahaha~! What a fantastic transformation! I suppose Myridel chose the right serum after all, hee hee! Ooh, I
should reward him somehow!" Joe assumed this was the doctor, and saw the voice's owner skip around to his
front.
The doctor seemed to be a rather lanky young man, with a mess of frizzy brown hair plopped on his head, and
glasses that seemed to have a crack in the left eye. How did he see out of those?
"Ee hee hee!" He danced around Joe, who tried to mumble something, but couldn't manage anything
comprehendable. "Aww, is my little monster hungry? Don't worry, once I'm done screening you, you'll be sent to
the military, where you'll get to eat all kinds of bad people! Hyahyahyahya!" The strange doctor danced to a
switch on the wall, and flipped it. The chair confining Joe suddenly rose, and shot into another room, almost
immediately. Joe could hear the strange doctor's high-pitched cackling from the other room.
"Now... Let's begin the screening, shall we? Ee hee hee hee!"
