Cody walked across the small dorm room and up to Julius. Julius looked into Cody's eyes. "I'm studying magic, were you aware of that?" Julius asked.
Cody scratched the back of his head, "Yeah, I guessed. That's where the big money is at nowadays. Although, I guess if you're in it for money then you're in the
wrong profession."
Julius grinned, "Yes, that is true. You have a lot of magical energy in you, you could make a great magician."
Cody shook his head, "I tried that a while ago, and the said the same thing, but they said I lacked a certain intelligence necessary for certain magic."
Julius continued to look over Cody, as if reading him, "Which one?"
"Spacial perception, I think."
Julius nodded, "Oh I see. That's fairly common. A person must be able to ‘see' a spell before casting it. If there is a problem with perceiving any aspect of a spell it
could be disastrous."
Cody looked down at his feet, "Yea, that's what they told me."
Julius put his hand on Cody's shoulder, "I may be able to use you in a spell. You're too good a resource to pass up."
Cody frowned, "I'm a resource?"
Julius smiled, "Don't get me wrong. I really like you Cody. I hope we can be friends."
Cody grinned.
