Myron Fuller sat listening to Frank tell the exploits of his Brazilian trip and the some wondrous and other horrified changes.
"Now Frank let me get this straight, if all these people were changed when they came in contact with the Medallion then why am I still here?" asked Myron as he pulled the Medallion out of his shirt.
Frank sat back in his chair, gawking at the Medallion and in absolute wonder. "You have it!"
"I took it off Simmons last night before the Officer's arrested him." said Myron with a smile of satisfaction.
"It should be burned up and melted down, it's dangerous!" said Frank now getting more and more antsy.
"Yes I might agree but what caused the changes before, I mean what was the catalyst to make it's powers happen?" asked Myron as he held the Medallion up in the air between the two.
Frank sat there now sweating and stared at the Medallion remembering his short time as the new Pan of Brazil. "Professor Fuller all need be done was to make a wish. As the one made the wish or suggestion of a wish to be an animal that's when the power flared and the holder changed. There is pain and there is mental agony as the change finalizes the human mind and memories were overpowered by sexual, sensual, and lusty desires to be just the animal and forget your previous life." explained Frank as the sweat dripped down his face.
"I see, did this Medallion touch your life too?" asked Myron seeing the welling fear in the young man.
Frank then told of his experience with the Medallion and how the Professor Simmons made a wish that changed the direction and use of the powers to be at his will. "Now that he no longer wore it it's power might have returned to what it once was. Therefore if a need or wish was made it could change the holders life for good or evil according to the attitude of he who is touching it." explained Frank.
"Don't worry Frank I've seen the powers as Simmons used them and know of a few he'd changed to live out their lives as animal. Scott Murry, Jean Malden, he changed into goats as he had done to others using the spelled or curse crate." said Myron as he put the Medallion down inside his shirt.
"Please Professor don't put the thing over your chest, don't wear it or one simple suggestive wish will be the possible end of your human life on earth!" begged Frank.
Myron stopped for a second and then withdrew the Medallion and laid it down on the coffee table before the two. "Tell me Frank, do you really think that Jenny Madox enjoys being that stallion she is now? I find it strange that some young and pretty girl that she was would have such an erotic desire." wondered Myron being a very plain and religious man.
"Huh, yes, she is without a doubt enjoying the lusty feeling of being one oversexed stallion, if any true stallion is oversexed. Oh of course the lack of morals and any thought of religious reasons all fell into dust. It was, I was, at the time I was, well I was when the change finalized feeling rather happy about losing my humanity. I know, that it's immoral to wish for becoming a brute beast and acting like they do when I'm now above the beasts as a person. Yet.... there is a strange feeling of calm and satisfaction as the role of being human with all it's trappings make not the least of worry. I was free, I could go and do as I wished until corralled or as Jenny kept for my male abilities. Even then the lust for procreation is a vast and deep feeling, the only real need of the animal world is to mate and carry on the species. If....if it were to fall into my.... hands the chance... the chance to become as a beast again I ... I.. might I might....!" said Frank as began to think about his past and short time in the animal realm.
Myron leaned back in his chair filled with thought as to the confession he'd just heard. "I understand a little more now...........................NO Frank!" yelled Myron as Frank reached out and picked up the Medallion.
"Yes, please don't try and stop me, I want this, this is where I should and shall be till life shall end!" said Frank as he clutched the Medallion close to his chest and closed his eyes to wish.
