"Marsha..wait..seriously!" you beg, putting your hands up as she slowly stalks closer toward you. "What the
hell was I SUPPOSED think? It wasn't like you laid out everything for me up front! Just PLEASE, listen to
reason!" You were fighting every urge to run. You knew she could take you out in a second if she wanted to.
The werewolf crept closer, though her posture was slightly less aggressive. She sniffed you for several
seconds, though they felt like an eternity. Her hot breath was all over your neck, and you closed your eyes,
waiting for the killing blow.
Suddenly, you heard the sounds of transformation again, and as you opened your eyes, you watched the change
reversing itself, though when it finished, she wasn't quite all human. Her ears still had points, and her
teeth were too long. Her eyes still were yellow, and she had a light dusting of black hair along her arms and
legs.
"I suppose that's fair.." she said, her voice slightly raspy and deeper than normal. "And you didn't try to
run this time.."
"Because I was trying to trust you," you told her. "You weren't exactly forthcoming about the werewolf thing
last night."
"Fortune favors the bold," she replied. "By staying home tonight, you weren't being bold."
"And only a fool would rush in when danger's a possibility," you countered.
She smiled slightly, both sweet and predatory. "Fair enough," she said. "So..if I had told you last night what
we were..and that I wanted you..what would you have said?"
"I would have said yes. I guess you could say that I've always had a thing for werewolves.."
Marsha smiled. "Then I'll give you one more opportunity, but hesitate, and you will die. I can't have you
knowing our secret. Fair enough?"
