This is it, you've failed out of your last class. At this place, that means the strictest punishments are enforced.
You've been given one of two options, either fail out and leave, or take the next semester off and become another student's assistant. Your parents will destroy you if they find out you've failed another magic school, in fact you'll probably never get the chance to learn magic again. The choice is clear, take the next 6 months off and help another student...but with what exactly?
"Well there are two candidates for you to choose from," The Dean explains your situation a little more,"Grey Alder is one of our most advanced students, he'll need someone to test spells on, all entirely safe I've been assured. Then there is Ian Kohl, he's one of our newest recruits, 14 years old I believe. I'm sure he'll just need help studying and getting used to the atmosphere around here."
"That's not much of a choice!" You huff and cross your arms.
"Well it's what you're left with, now which will it be?" His voice takes a sour tone, as if he's doing you the favor here...
