Marina spotted her boat easily, having surfaced close by. She swam over to it and realized she would need to use both hands to pull herself onboard. She thought about tossing the medallion onto her boat, but decieded she did not want to risk damaging it. She put the medallion around her neck, taking a moment to admire its beauty.
She got aboard without much difficulty. Marina had found that getting back aboard with a monofin was a little more difficult than with her old flippers, but she managed. Removing her tank and mask, she flopped down in the boat. Marina took a moment to rest and enjoy the light sea breeze before attempting to remove her fin and wetsuit.
While sitting there, she took the medallion in her hand again (still hanging around her neck) and looked at its strange writing. She wiped her thumb across it to clear away some water, hoping to be able to see it better in the sunlight.
That was when she heard a strange low voice say "The exterior form should match the interior nature."
Startled, she looked around, but she was alone on her boat. Then she looked at the medallion in her hand. Had it someone talked to her? The idea seemed absurd, but something told her it was true.
She shook her head at such silly thoughts and attempted to unzip her wetsuit...
