Simmons is OUT ?

added by AdobeFats 20 years ago O

Ten wonderful and peaceful days passed as Simmons rotted in jail and Myron Fuller need not worry about him ever again. Then it happened as Myron read his evening paper.

The reprieve of Professor Simmons was the news of the day. Released after going to court since no murder weapon or victim's body could be offered as evidence to the judge. A smiling faced Simmons' picture was on the front page.

Myron wadded up the paper and threw it into the file 13. There was little doubt that Simmons would be after him and want the Medallion as well. "Ah, but Simmons doesn't know that his wish for the Medallion's powers were reverted to the original. He had to make a plan to get Simmons to wish for something while holding the Medallion. Then he'd be rid of Simmons for good!" thought Myron.

As expected that very evening just after dinner Simmons came to the front door of Myron's home.

"Good evening old friend!" said Professor Simmons as the front door opened by Myron sweating hand.

"I see your out!" replied a less than friendly Myron.

"Out, back, and standing here to get my property back!" said Simmons with an outstretched hand.

"Property, oh the Medallion, yes I supposed you might want that back?" replied Myron acting dumb as best any professor might. "Come in!" offered Myron.

The two walked down the front hall and into Myron's study. Pointing to a chair Myron suggested that Simmons have a seat. Kneeling down on one leg he began to spin the tumblers of his safe. "I kept this dangerous thing in here lee it fall into the wrong hands!" explained Myron.

"Good Idea!" said Simmons as he wringed his hands in anticipation.

As the door opened the noise of it's suction was the only sound in the room. Reaching inside the deep safe Myron took out a long red jewelry box. Turning round he layed it on his desk and let Simmons open the box for himself.

There it lay, bright and glowing a light blue color.

"It's yours, you take it Simmons and then clear out of my home!" exclaimed Myron sounding more than disgusted.

"OK, yea right of course, it's mine and I own it! Oh but aren't you a little worried about ending up living in Wyoming?" asked Simmons with a grin.

"Wyoming, why what's in Wyoming that would have me go there?" asked Myron trying to look surprised.

Simmons got up and hung the Medallion round his neck. His right hand fondled the bright bobble as he looked at Myron.

"You know there's a State Police Officer missing says the papers. I also read the Killingsworth Ranch found a purebred Polled Hereford Bull wandering about. Seems such an animal is rather valuable, if they check he might even be able to write his story in the coral dust." laughed Simmons outloud.

"You wished him to be that bull, I don't believe it you can't just wish someone to be animal!" stated Myron. "If it can be done as you say then prove it to me and make me that bull's twin!" weasled Myron at Simmons now getting angry.

"OK, mister know it all get ready to have a meal of fodder tomorrow morning!" Walking close to Myron, Simmons began his spelled wish.

"Be a mature American Bison bull, I wish it, and you shall............oh NO!" said Simmons as the Medallion's color changed from blue to orange. In a second the power flowed but not down his arm to Myron but up his swelling chest to begin it's change of him who held it.
