Kelly heard a light, dry cough and turned around to see the old woman who had originally given away the ring. Kelly didn't recognize her, of course, and screamed. No sound came out of her mouth.
"You can call me the spirit of the ring" said the old woman. "We need to talk. Nice cock, by the way. I temporarily took away your voice so you can't make more wishes until you become better informed."
Kelly grunted.
"I have temporarily localized the effect of your wish to you alone, because I don't think you thought through all the implications here. World-changing wishes have all kinds of implications and effects that people just don't think about, and yours has the potential to cause the most damage of any since the wish that monkeys evolve intelligence. Pregnant women? Where are their babies going to come out without vaginas? You just condemned them and their babies to death. Not to mention the ones that were actually giving birth when you made the wish. That would have been truly horrible."
Kelly's eyebrows shot up. It was true, she had been very self-centered and hadn't considered the consequences of her wish at all.
"Look, people get carried away when they realize the powers of the ring. Despite your self-hatred and fucked-up ideas about women, you aren't a bad person. I'm going to give you your voice back. When I do, say 'I wish the effects of my last wish be limited to me alone.'"
