No need for vengeance

added 11 years ago BM TG O

Jean eyed the drawer that held her pen, the key in its lock, ready to be opened. Jenny had just left her office. They had discussed the negotiations at first, but Jean had managed to keep her around with idle chit chat, planning to look for weaknesses to base her revenge on. At least, that was the plan.

With a sigh Jean turned the key and pulled out the pen. She stared at the blank piece of paper on her desk for nearly a minute before she began to write. "I am wearing thigh-high seamed stockings." A short tingle on her legs followed by the sensation of clinging nylon confirmed to her once more that the pen was the real deal. Not that she needed any confirmation, she just decided to do some tests. Taking off her pants she was greeted by her nylon clad legs. "Oh my," she said, a pleased smile crossing her face, "I should've gotten these earlier." She felt very sexy now and a little eager to take her exploration of womanhood to the logical next step. Her hand lingered close to her crotch before she pulled it away and picked up the pen again. "Maybe later," she muttered to herself as the words flowed from her pen.

"The sentence written above this one will disappear without a trace." With that the traces of ink were erased and even the indentations of the individual strokes flattened out, leaving a white virginal surface. Jean ran a hand over her thigh, the nylon still there. "Cool. I get to keep these." In her head she ran over findings: whatever she wrote could be erased, but it would not reverse the effect. Having learned more about the pen she began scribbling again. "Anything I write with this pen will disappear without a trace after a minute, up to and including what I've written before this sentence."

Jean smiled when her writing disappeared after exactly 60 seconds; now she didn't have to worry about people finding paper scribbled with odd descriptions about reality. She wasn't done just yet though. "Any container holding this pen can only be opened by me." She planned to put the pen in her safe once she got home from work, this was just extra safety. Now she was all set to plan her revenge on Jenny. However...

The pen twirled in her hand, never once getting close to any writing surface. She thought back to her chat with Jenny and realized that she never once felt like she was talking to an enemy, but something more akin to collegiality and possibly a start of a new friendship. By this time she had already gotten over the prank, not to mention that it never even happened in the first place now that she had changed her life's history. Add to the fact that she had never been the vengeful type -not as Jean, nor as David- and it would seem that Jenny would never get her comeuppance. She was fine with this and even felt a little proud that she wasn't tempted to use a powerful item for something so petty.

Jean put the pen back, pulled her pants back up and shifted her attention towards her work.
