Leaving Gene weak on the floor, Nathan cast an intoxicating weakness over him to keep him home for the next few days. "I got a few things to do as you" he told Gene as he teleported himself out of Gene's room and back to his own home.
Checking his naked self out in the mirror, Nathan couldn't believe the transformations that had come over him. His tanned skin, his perfectly sculpted abs and adonis belt, the treasure trail that went from above his package up and over his chest. Nathan could feel the unbridled powers coursing within him. He realized, with his expanded mind, that he had moved beyond being a mere human. The medallion that hung over his sculpted chest coursed supernatural powers through him. His eyes went beyond biological sight, he could see through walls, see what people were thinking, read their minds, their ambitions, their desires.
Nathan materialized a knife to test his body. "What would happen..." he surmised as he pointed the blade toward his chest. He aimed it toward where his heart used to be. Inside him lay not organs but an immortal and infinite swath of liquid power and energy. Nathan thrust the knife into his abdomen. Although he felt pressure, he felt no pain, almost a resurgence of energy in his abdomen. Looking down he watched as he moved the knife, cutting through the outer layer of flesh on his body. Black oily subtances began leaking out and like snakes on a tree wrapping itself around the blade. Purple electric sparks started eating away at the blade as it melted and consumed the weapon, completely dissolving it as it consumed it into Nathan's power-ridden body. "Holy shit," he thought, "nothing can hurt me."
Just as he had acquired Gene's genetic blueprint, being able to effectively morph into him whenever Nathan wanted, he now felt the knife's atomic makeup become a part of him. The knowledge of the power made him smile, and Nathan wanted to see how his powers would effect other humans.
