I had just remove my sheath an started to empty my bladder when the strange light once again enveloped me.
Before I realized I was in the middle of a building. It looked like a temple with tall marble columns
sustaining the ceiling, except it wasn't stone, it was white, like plastic, and there were holographic
monitors just like in the movies, the air smell like A/C and disinfectant. And I wasn't alone, the creatures
there, for I cannot call them human really, where tall and slim, with slightly voluptuous heads, the smaller
ones were dressed in skin tight suits and the taller ones in the same suits, but in darker color and robes.
And they were staring at me, who just appeared naked and urinating in the middle of a busy hall. I couldn't
stop, I was too shocked finding myself in the middle of such creatures who appeared what the science fiction
programs thought humans would ended up evolving into and the dripping sounds of the rapidly forming puddle by
my feet just remind me of what I was doing. After that I was afraid they would think of me as a lesser animal
which I gave them no reason to think otherwise. Finally I emptied my bladder and the slow dripping was all the
sound it would be heard.
For a moment then everything was quiet, suddenly an alarm sounded. I was altered enough as I was so I ran,
again like a wild animal. And like one I just felt a sting sensation in my buttock before everything went
drowsy and before I knew I was knocked out.
When I woke up I was in the middle of what appeared to be a lab inside a lighted up pad. I slowly stood up and
tried to get out, but I couldn't, it repelled me like when you try to make to magnets face the same side. I
was a little groggy but soon I understood I was in some kind of force field.
<Fascinating> said a computer generated voice after one of the big headed persons said something.
"Where am I?" I asked not sure if they would understand me, the computer then made another sound and the
person there looked at me with impression on his eyes.
<The Physics Laboratory of the Institute of Science... do you understand Physics? or Science?> asked the
computer, in what I believe was a translation software.
"Yes. I do why I'm in a cage?" I asked.
The scientist seemed a little surprise but also glad <We apologize, but we had to make sure you weren't a
violent animal, you seemed to have a rudimentary grasp of sentience so we made this translator reading your
brainwaves. An easy task for such primitive language. At first we though you were a test animal from another
dimension judging by your energy signatures, do you understand what I am saying?>
I won't lie, I felt a bit insulted, not too much considering what I was doing before, but I was still a caged
specimen. "Could you let me go... perhaps give some clothes, this is embarrassing."
<Sorry, could you describe the word 'embarrassing' it doesn't translate> said the computer.
"Ashamed, humiliated, a feeling when someone dignity is being abused." the computer struggled a little and
then replied.
<Those feelings are bad for you we assume, your request shall be granted, if you do a favor to us.> a quickly
nodded, but after seeing they gave no indication of understanding a said "Yes"
<Good. Now listen> as suit began to materialize above my body <You appear to be a sub-specie of our kind, so I
hope you could understand your situation. Do you know what's happening to you.>
I told them my tale of how an accident in my parents lab put me in my current predicament. <Yes your
progenitors were teasing with a very delicate matter of the fabric of reality, we believe your kind would
still have a long way before mastering the intricacies of higher dimension. You on the other hand triggered a
singularity event your dimensional vibration has become destabilize enough for you to change realities
randomly once you have build up enough energy.>
"Could you fix me? I just want to go home." I asked.
<Fix you? Why would we do that? You offer us a unprecedented opportunity to study reality, we have mastered
the dimensional shift, but we can do so from our reality to our 'adjacent ones' lets called for you. But you
jump randomly from one point to the next, with your data we could proceed to map up everything that could have
ever been. Just now you have the signatures of four dimensions including ours. If you keep doing it we could
research Infinity itself.>
"I don't care, why should I be your guinea pig? If you can please help me!" I yelled at them.
The scientist, stood silently a moment before speaking. <We apologize but beside our scientific gain, we can't
fix you. At least not now. As I said you are destabilized, if we tried to fix you to a point in dimensions,
the repercussions could be disastrous. But do not fret. The anomaly that grant you this ability will converge
eventually and your vibration will stabilize eventually. Then you'll be of no longer us for us. And in
exchange for your cooperation we would be able to get you from let's call it 'wherever' you will be to your
original space. Would those terms be acceptable?>
They weren't but I didn't understand how the hell it was happening to me. And he made a compelling case. So
three ways, he told the truth and eventually I would get home, he lied to me to ease me, and I would be
jumping for the rest of my life, or he lied on being unable to fix me so they could continue their
experiments. Anyway I was trapped. Suddenly the computer began to make a blipping sound.
<It appear you are about to had build up the energy necessary for a jump, the time appears to depend of where
you ended up so it doesn't appear to be a fixed amount. Listen in your right hand we took the liberty to
insert you a device so we can track you. Be careful.> was the last thing the computer could translate before I
was surrounded by the light and transported again.
