As the six high school students were stuffing their faces, Nicky suddenly got a phonecall. So entranced was he with his meal, that he let
the phone go to his answering machine twice before the noise became too annoying for him to hear.
"What?" he yelled into the phone in a much deeper voice. It was the vice-principal's office. It was explained to Nicky that the four seniors
were in a great deal of trouble for taking the two nom-seniors out to lunch, and further consequences would be in order if the whole group
did not return immeadiately. Nicky hurriedly explained the situation to the others, and the threat of punishment was enough to snap the
teenagers back to their senses.
Each threw money on the table for their meal, and as they ran out the door, Nicky yelled to the waitress, who had been absentmindedly
been reading a magazine, that they had to go and that her money was on the table.
"No! Wait!" yelled the waitress. But it was futile, the group, though not yet dusplaying many signs of their transformations to come had
already moved on.
"I'm going to be in so much trouble," whimpered the waitress. "I hope they don't turn me into a frog."
