While trying to decide just how old to make the kids, Bobby heard screaming in the next room. He walked in to
find John and Jessica fighting each other, with John pulling Jessica's hair, tears streaming down her face.
"Oi, stop that John, you're hurting her" Bobby yelled, and John immediately stopped it.
"Yea, but she started it! We were gonna play doctor but now she won't!" said John. Bobby crouched down to them
and comfort Jessica who was still crying. "She wants to play house and that's stupid".
"Well I think you should say sorry to Jessica, and to make it up to her, you will play house".
John sighed and mumbled an apology. Jessica suddenly perked up and ran to her bag to grab some toys she had
while John sat down on the floor and stuck his tongue out at her. She handed him a little teddy and said "OK
so I be the mommy, Bobby can be the daddy, and you'll be the baby".
John dropped the teddy and replied "Nuh-uh, I'm always the baby when we play! You can be the baby this time
and I can be the daddy".
"Nooooooo!" Jessica whined. "Then how will Bobby play? You can't have two daddies, that's silly".
"You can have two daddies. I seen it on TV sometimes.".
They both looked up at Bobby to settle the argument, who didn't really want to be dragged into playing house
with them in the first place. But it did give him an idea on how to use the ring he acquired. "Look, I don't
want to cause any fighting. How about I flip a coin? Heads, John is the baby. Tails, Jessica is the baby".
"But what if it lands on its side?" John asked.
Bobby thought about it replied "well in that really unlikely situation, I'll be the baby and you and Jessica
will be both the mom and dad". he dug a hand into pocket and pulled out a quarter, flipping it into the air
and letting it land on the nearby table.
