The Twinkie that was Jeff laid there on the floor, the glow of the screen reflecting of it's wrapper.
Having nothing but awareness in his creamy spongy body Jeff felt a bit of boredom but also felt
peaceful and relaxed for the most part. Time had no meaning for the Twinkie as all he could do
was wait it out.
Morning came as the sun shone into his room, the sunlight
making his yellow spongey form bright and golden, not that he could witness it himself. However if
he still had hearing he would have heard his sister Julie open the door.
"Jeff! I'm home!" she called out, looking for him as she took her pack to her room. She didn't
see or hear from him so she shrugged.
A half-hour later, Julie went looking for him. She was hungry and hadn't heard from him. Did he
leave without telling anyone?
Julie opened the door without knocking. "Jeff, I'm hungry." She whined, expecting the normal
shouting she got whenever she barged in,but was surprised when there was nothing but silence.
His computer was on with some crazy program still running, but there was something that caught
her attention.
She bent down and picked up a Twinkie, still in its wrapper. Jeff tried to hide one from her, huh?
Well she'll show him!
