Jen climbed atop the island again. "Hey, if I can't find a sock, what's the point in having the leg?" She said
to herself, as if trying to justify what she was about to do. She reached down, and pulled at her leg just below
her butt. It was tougher to get off than her foot, but it still came of fairly easy. As soon as the leg
detached, Jen lost her balance momentarily, having nothing propping her up on her left hand side. Quickly, she
removed her other leg from the same position, to balance herself out.
She held her two legs infront of her. She was completely aware of the lack of any sense from either of them,
even banging them against the countertop she was sitting on didn't cause anything except a loud noise. Jen
decided to try moving them to a different area, and placed them against her hips, as if she was doing the
splits. The feeling rushed back to her, as she stretched her legs out in a way that would have been impossibly
uncomfortable for anybody normally.
"Cool," Jen said, "Bit like an insect. Maybe I should try this with my arms." She pondered the potential of the
situation. She would have to move one arm at a time, otherwise she would have no way of getting them back on.
She grasped hold of her right shoulder and pulled. As she was right handed, the feeling of emptiness was even
weirder than the loss of her legs. She rotated her shoulder, and put it back where it used to be. Suddenly, her
arm was reattached, with her underarm facing directly in front of her. She reached across, and while it was
harder, she managed to reach, rotate and reattach her other arm. Feeling confident that she was now going to be
able to walk about comfortably in a way no one had before, she dropped off the island and too the floor.
