My dad became a big, muscular red oni with black stripes, wild black hair, 2 horns, sharp fangs, pointy ears, yellow irises, and black claws.
My mom became a busty, blue oni with pink stripes, wild pink hair, 2 horns, sharp fangs, pointy ears, pink irises, and red claws.
I became a purple oni with blue stripes, wild blue hair, 2 horns, sharp fangs, pointy ears, yellow irises, and blue claws.
My little sister Kira became a pink oni with white stripes, wild purple hair, 2 horns, sharp fangs, pointy ears, pink irises, and purple claws.
I heard about oni before, and knew they were supposed to be Japanese demons who caused mischief, but I didn't tell them that.
The weird part was our clothes had adjusted to fit our new bodies. After looking at ourselves and eachother for a few minuets, we made a
decision.
"I don't know how this happened," my mom said "but we're not going to let this ruin our fun. We're going to enjoy this trip even if we're
monsters."
"Am I a cute monster?" my sister, Kira asked.
"Of course." she said, smiling, and she picked me and my sister up, and kissed our foreheads, then put us down.
My dad went to the lake, and caught a huge fish with his bare hands, while my mom cooked it, I played a game of tag with Kira.
"All right my little monsters," she called from inside "dinner's ready!"
So the 2 of us raced into the cabin to see who could get there first.
"Ha!" my sister Kira said "I win!"
Between you and me, I let her win. I've heard you should never make an oni mad, and even if she was only 5, I didn't want to take any chances.
We all ate our fill, then after mom did the dishes, it was time for bed. Judging by the seductive look my mom was giving my dad, I could tell we
might get a new brother or sister in 9 months! So they went to their room, and Kira and I went to ours.
She looked so peaceful sleeping.
I still couldn't believe this had happened. I was sure there was an explanation for it, but at the time, I just wanted to go to sleep.
What surprises would tomorrow bring?
