You stumble across a pit in your path. You sit down on the ledge. Your feet dangle about a foot from the
bottom of the ledge. You notice everything at the bottom of the pit is crushed flat. You drop into the pit to
examine it more thoroughly. The pit radiates five pointy fingers. It looks like a giant lizard's foot print,
but that's impossible.
You have a strong urge to investigate. You run ahead ten feet nothing. You figure it wasn't a foot print
after all, but as you walk forward you fall into a second footprint. It's at least 20 feet from the first
one. This one has a crushed metal object on the floor of the foot. You kneel down, it looks kind of like a
robot until you get to the head which is just outside the footprint. You lift the visor on the helmet and are
horrified to see a bloodied human head. It was a knight in armor. You find a sword nearby, and take it with
you for defense. You turn back from the footprints and go back the direction they came from instead of the
direction that they were headed. You come to a small burned out village. You see a handful of people moving
cautiously amongst the ruins looking for salvageable items.
You ask a nearby soot covered boy in tattered clothing, "What happened?"
"What happened?" he answers looking around, "The dragon happened! Where did you get that sword? It belongs to
Sir George he was hunting the dragon!"
"This sword? I found it on the ground near a giant footprint. I'm not sure if it was your Sir George, but
something huge appears to have stomped a man in armor flat."
"What! He was our only hope! The dragon is bound to come back. You're not a knight are you?"
You pause, and then you answer...
