As we headed off in the direction of the hotel, I finalized my conditions with Thigersa and Stephgress. For
everything they'd already let me do to them, and for their loyalty to the group, I gave them the ability to
transform into their tigers forms whenever they wanted to. There were a couple of catches to that ability.
First of all, as tigers, they would not be able to harm another human being unless I specifically told them
to. There would be no fears of renegade, uncontrollable tigers that way. Second, in order to transform, they
had to want do so at the same time. If only one of them wanted to change, they would not. When they both
wanted to change, they would know due to a telepathic connection I wished for them to have to each other, for
this purpose only. When they each sensed the other wanted to change, their transformations would begin with
their sexual organs changing first. This would emphasize the sexual nature of their transformations. The
final condition I put upon them for granting them this ability was that I may need them to be tigers for me
for non-sexual situations. Like if I for some reason wanted to intimidate someone by having two pet tigers,
they would have to fill those roles for me. I didn't think this would happen often, if ever, so they had no
problems with this condition. They even seemed excited by the possibility of getting to scare someone.
I thought a lot during our return to the hotel. I said I wanted to have four males and eight females,
including myself, in my group. I still needed one male and three females. I also felt I needed some
diversity in my group. So far everyone was white. I wasn't entirely sure of where else I could find
"recruits." I could not think of anyone I knew personally who I felt met my criteria. But I knew someone who
could help me: Myrintha. I'd have to talk to her when we got back.
We returned to the hotel without incident. By now it was a little after midnight, so I had been worried that
we could run into unpleasantness on the street somehow. But we hadn't been in the bad parts of town, so I
suppose that helped. When we entered the lobby, I noticed the same receptionist who checked us in still
behind the counter. He must be the night shift guy, I thought. I cheerfully walked right over to him. "Hi
there!" I said.
"Hello again," he said in his monotone voice. "How may I help you?"
"Well, you said I'd have to tell you if any others joined our party, and we have two more that have joined," I
said.
He typed into the computer and made whatever adjustments he had to make. "Thank you for informing us," he
said. "We have made the necessary changes to your reservation. Is there anything else you require?"
"Oh, lots of things," I said. "But nothing you can help with, I'm afraid."
He raised an eyebrow at me. "Madam, we are not speaking the same language," he said.
"I can learn a new one," I said.
"Yes, but I cannot," he retorted.
"So unflappable," I said to him as I squinted my eyes at him. Rather than allow him to get in the last word,
I turned and walked away from him. I made sure to shake my ass at him ever so subtly. We all went into the
elevator where Bozantum retrieved the key card from his loincloth. Soon we were on our way to the penthouse.
I wondered how we'd find the other four.
