Right on cue the music started and everyone began showing up. By 810 people were everywhere. The back yard,
front yard, and every room in the house was filled including the bedrooms and basement. Their bedrooms were
the game and internet hubs for the less social people to get together and mingle, the more physically active
people were roughhousing in the front yard, the music people were listening to the band, beer pong had started
up in the basement and plenty of people were hanging out on the main floor talking and socializing.
Dustin was chatting it up with Shelly who shared third period with him, apparently Ty's new popularity was
boosting Dustin's as well. Ty smiled fully enjoying his first party.
It's not like Ty had never seen a party, he had, Dustin has a birthday every year. Recently Dustin's parties
have been out of the house so Ty was left at home. This experience was nearly overwhelming but the memories of
his new popularity were lessening the effect.
After walking through the crowd he realized that he knew each of the people individually as though he had sat
with each one of them through lunch, discussing their life. His new existence as a popular 16 year old gave
him memories of going to the gym after school with Jim and Marty, Mark would tag along occasionally. Steph and
Jess started giving him looks about a month before he noticed that his dedication to buffing up was raising
eyebrows. Ty recalled hitting up the local mall after school with Aaron after he got his license and on and on
and on. The house was full of... friends.
With this Ty decided to have fun, he went from area to area meeting people and being greeted by friendly faces
all around, as the night went on the party got wilder and wilder as more lightweight teens surpassed their
limits without realizing. Ty was one of them.
