Carrie looked around at the shrinking store, feeling a bit pear shaped about the whole endeavor, she had long out grew the height of the shop assistants and was getting to be much wider now too, looking very bottom heavy.
"Dearie, I wouldn't take too much of that stuff," shouted up Nancy. "It is mostly only for plants and animals, not for people."
Carrie laughed, shaking John to his bones, "I'll be fine" she said, practically filling the cathedral sized store.
With that, there was a "poit" sound and something seemed off to Carrie, the store smelt different. Carrie crossed her eyes and saw she had a gray muzzle with a black shiny bulbous nose donning the end of it. Using her tongue she could feel that her front teeth had become bucked as well. "My nose" Carrie cried, and as she rose her hand up to feel her altered snoz the dreaded and cartoony sound of *poit poit* made itself present again, this time claiming Carries ears, making them larger, rounded and fuzzy.
John looked up at his now mousy looking bride. "Carrie are you alright?"
"Does it look like I'm alright?!"
Carrie felt something tingling on the back of her spine as a long wormy tail grew out, down through a leg in her underwear, feeling foreign and very odd. A wave overtook Carrie as a layer of gray fur grew all over her body, light gray on her belly, feeling soft and warm.
Carrie picked up her foot seeing that now they had become paws with a single rubbery pad on the bottom and everything and carefully lowered them next to her husband as to not step on him.
This was when the sheer scale of her struck John, a single furry gray toe was larger than he was. To think this was the woman he married not too long ago, no way she will ever fit into her wedding dress again, or their house for that matter.
John shouted up to the mousy Carrie, "We'll, do you think you are about done now?!"
Carrie's ears twitched, "Well..."
