A stuffed teddy bear. It had inexplicably fallen off it's shelf behind you as you passed by. Having worked retail and seen the callous disregard for clean isle that people often show, you bend down and pick up the stray bear and place it back on it's shelf. That is you try to. Somehow when you pull your hand away the bear comes with your hand. Thinking that it may have gotten caught on your watch you try to shake it loose back on it's shelf. It still refuses to come loose.
"What the...?" you ask no one in particular.
You take a closer look and you see the bears arms seem to have actually wrapped themselves around your hand. This startles you into stillness and the bear uses that opportunity to pull your hand inside it's soft fur. You gasp as your hand is literally pulled inside the stuffed bear. You shake vigorously to try and get rid of the bear, but you hand is too far in. You can feel it being pulled into the arm of the bear that corresponds to the hand it's touched. The bear's arm grows to fit yours.
That's when things get even stranger. The bear's other hand reaches impossibly across your back and wraps it's other paw around your other hand, encasing it in it's plush fur. The fur also sticks to your back and crawls down it all the way to your rear. The bear's furry legs push forward and wrap around your own, and slip it's tiny feet around yours. You're panicking now and trying to shake this thing off of you, but to no avail. You can feel the plush fur on your back, meaning it's somehow converted your clothes into it's own furry mass. It begins closing in around your chest. As it meets across your mid-section it crawls up to your neck. You can see the bears jaw forming around your chin and can feel the bears head sitting atop yours. You cry out for help just before the bear's mouth snaps shut around your head.
You're totally in the dark and you can feel the plush fur completely around your body. Then it seems to begin filling with stuffing. Stuffing that clings to you in some odd way. You can feel your skin and muscles getting softer as it touches you. You realize that you're becoming the stuffing inside this bear, and as you do your vain struggles slow. Soon, without wanting to, you stop and are completely still. Then you can suddenly see again. Your eyes are greeted with the dizzying sight of the world growing around you. You can feel your body pulling in on itself. Soon you're the same size as the bear you first picked up. You try to move, but can only manage some minor wiggling.
"Well, well, what have we here?" a female voice intones. You feel yourself being picked up and find yourself face-to-face with an attractive brunette woman. She smiles at you.
"It's been a long time since one of my empty bears managed to capture someone." she says. Empty bears? Does that mean some of the other bears were once people too? You managed to shudder at the thought.
"Oh the full ones were all sold a long time ago. Very popular in certain circles, those." she says and looks at you. She seems to puts her index finger on her cheek as she holds you with the other hand.
"Hmmm...I've been curious about getting my own captive-teddy. But you would fetch a good price if sold to someone else. I wonder. Do I sell you, or keep you?" she says.
