Deciding to forget about that crazy site, Jonathan spends the rest of the evening applying for jobs online. After months of rejection his hopes are not high but he still hammers away at the keyboard until well after 2 A.M. in the morning.
Without any place to go to Jon sleeps till close to noontime. He goes about his morning routine of shit, shower and shave, all the while avoiding looking at himself in the bathroom mirror. He never likes to be reminded of how pathetic he looks with his unkempt brown hair, pot belly and no muscle mass, merely flab on his arms and legs.
After his routine he heads toward the kitchen to fix himself the only breakfast he can afford right now, a bowl of cereal. But before he gets there he hears a knock on the door of his apartment. When he goes to answer it he finds the the person is already gone but has left a small package on his doorstep. The return address reads CYOC Labs. Bringing it inside he opens it up and jumps as he is sprayed with a fine white powder. Panic begins to set in as he fears he has just been poisoned. However, he notices a letter in the package sitting atop some packing peanuts and begins to read it.
Dear Mr. Smith,
Thank you for signing up for our program. We here at CYOC Labs are very happy to have you as our very first TF Star. Enclosed is your signing bonus and also a complimentary smart phone that is linked to your account. Any time you recieve an announcement from us or a new transformation your phone will chime. However, we will only tell you what the transformation will be only if the user doesn't pay the extra 5 dollars to keep it secret.
Also you may be wondering about the white powder. It is not Anthrax. We would never poison our new star. It is our propriatary nanites that by now have embedded themselves in your system and will facilitate all the changes you will be paid for. These nanites will not only live inside you and change you but will also soon seep out of you pores and even your breath and create an invisible cloud 15 feet around you that can be modified by other users. Since you agreed to any change possible when you signed up this means that your clothing can be changed, your apartment can be changed and even people around you can be modified. However, since we are an honorable company we will not directly change those who have not signed up for the TF Star program and only use the nanite to modify other people so that your changes seem "normal" to them. Consider this like a perception field around you so that you can live out your normal life to some extent while being changed. Be aware though that since you checked the box to let others control your perception field any user can pay 20 dollars at any time to remove it for 1 hour and you will have to deal with the concequences.

Jonathan is dumbfounded when he finishes reading the letter and is even more shocked when he finds a real check for 1,000.00 dollars behind the letter. He digs into the packing peanuts and sure enough there is a top of the line smartphone in there. He would have never been able to afford a model like this even on his security guard salary. He turns it on and as soon as he does it chimes with a message.
It reads "User JackTheWriter has won todays bidding and the winning bid of 225.00 dollars(after our 10 percent cut) has been deposited into your account and will be sent to you with all your other earnings by check at the end of the month. JackTheWriter has one hour to choose your transformation and you will be notified when it begins"
After reading the message Jonathan cannot help but feel nervous that this might all be real. That he might soon be changed in strange ways by random people that he has never met to sate some dark voyeuristic desires that they posess. The bright side is that the check is definitely real and he no longer needs to feel worried about being homeless. He wonders if he should give the whole check to his landlord to pay up his rent in full or go to the bank instead and cash it so he can pay half, enough to remove the eviction notice and keep the rest as pocket money. Or perhaps he should wait to see if this transformation thing is real before leaving his apartment...
