"Mrs. Rogers?"
I don't reply.
"Mrs. Rogers!"
I open my eyes. "What?"
"I see your awake!"
"Yeah, no shit sherlock." Then, I realize what I just did.
"I just spoke. Did you..."
"Yes. You now are human
I feel joy in my heart. I can finally go home, finish college, have
none cow children...
"But there is a small problem. Here. Take a look."
He hands me a mirror. I look normal, but then I realize what
color my skin is.
Pink.
Not just pig pink. I'm talking hot pink, like a car, or bubblegum
lollypop. My lips and hair are darker than the other areas, but
my eyes are still white. I look in horror to find that my entire
body is hot pink.
"What happened to me?"
"Well, Ms. Rogers, the serum worked incorrectly and
transformed you into a pink goo. In fact, you still are a pink goo.
You just happen to have made yourself human."
I looked at him in disbelief. Now, I was even worse than a cow.
Now, I was a puddle.
