Blurry, painful colours flashed by. Whatever party you attended had left its mark on your mind and body, wracking you with nausea and pain. A night of alcohol, thumping bass and wooing women had become nothing more than distant echoes, like a dream the night before that you just couldn't shake. You toss and turn, trying to settle the growing heat and restlessness that has overtaken your sleep. Finally self-aware of your unconscious state, you become lost in the echoes of your own dreams.
The woman you had slept with...the purse, how did you end up with her purse? Stumbling out of the door and onto clouds, you make your way to the cab waiting for you. The driver mouths something at you, but you can't understand it. What's going on? What is he saying? You look back at the purse as you get out of the cab. He shouts something at you, still no understanding. Bed...sweet, comfortable bed was your bliss. You drop the purse next to you, still not fully understanding why you had taken it with you. Her wallet, her belongings, they spill out onto the bed. Haze fills your brain and your eyes try to focus on the strange necklace. You hook it with one finger and pull it close. Your eyes close again, the pain sharpens. Was this a dream? Was it real?
