Erika greatly enjoyed her new feet and tail. After a month with
a whole extra appendage and hands for feet, she couldn't
imagine going back to life without them. Her parents never
noticed, either. When she did homwork, she would grab her
supplies with her feet and get into a position so she could write
while she turned the pages with her hands. She would also hold
a drink with her tail and sip it. Even cleaning her room had
become fun. She would bounce around the room, grabbing
things with her tail and feet and putting them somewhere that
wasn't in the way. In fact, everything about her life improved.
She got better grades, did chores more easily, everything. She
was glad that her parents didn't check her body.
One day, while her parents were out, she looked at herself in
the mirror. She examined her feet and tail, and strangely found
herself dissatisfied. She pondered what was wrong, and then
her eyes wandered to her legs. Of course! She couldn't truly
use her feet and tail until she had the legs to go with them! She
got out the vial and sprayed her legs. She shook with
excitement. She was practically half–monkey now.
The day wore on, and Erika began scratching at her pants. Her
legs felt sweaty and itchy. She went to her room, and pulled her
pants off. She was not surprised to find that her legs had
become furry, and far more muscular. She looked at her
bedpost. She crouched, stepped back, and sprang towards it.
She landed on it lightly, and didn't make a single noise. She
was happy as can be. This was how all people should be. Who
needed evolution? She jumped around her room a few times,
and decided to try something. She spotted a pull–up bar left
over from the previous owners. She jumped at it, but instead of
using her feet, she used her tail to grab onto the bar. She hung
there for a few seconds, and then she slowly raised her feet to
grab the bar properly. She loved her new body. She thought
about everything she could do, what she could accomplish. She
went to sleep and thought about it.
