Will walked down the halls to Logan's room. He and Cal might be in a truce, but that didn't mean he couldn't
get information on his own. Besides, it would save time if he just worked on his own. Unfortunately for Will,
as he rounded the last corner to get to Logan's room, Cal was doing the same from the other side of the hall.
"Oh. Hey." Will said.
"I was... just going to get you." Cal said.
"We suck at alliances don't we?" Will said.
"Let's find out." Cal said, pushing open Logan's door.
"Oh, hey guys, how's it going?" Logan said.
"Well, someone died, so not great." Will said.
"Right. Hey, is this another meeting? I can run over to Gabe and Rebeca's rooms if you want." Logan offered.
"I don't think that's entirely necessary." Cal said.
"Yeah. We just want to have a talk with you." Will said.
"Shit. You guys think I did it." Logan said.
"Maybe. More importantly, you work in security, and no one around here seems to know the difference between
your little armed guard and the actual security of the ship." Will said.
"So?" Logan asked.
"So, can you sneak us in to see some of the security tapes?" Will asked.
"What?" Cal asked.
"Give us one moment." Will said, pulling Cal off to the side of the room.
"This isn't part of the plan." Cal whispered.
"There was no plan." Will pointed out.
"Still, what are you thinking?" Cal asked.
"If he takes us to see the tapes, we find out whether or not he's the killer. If he doesn't take us, we assume
he's the killer and is hiding it from us." Will said.
"And if there's a third option?" Cal asked.
"We'll work on it later." Will said.
"I don't like this." Cal said.
"Um, guys? I could probably help if you wanted me to." Logan said.
"Perfect." Will said, turning to face Logan.
"Alright, so it's the three of us then?" Logan asked.
"Apparently." Cal said, glancing at Will.
"Great! This way, either Will or I will win." Logan said.
"Come again?" Will asked.
"Well, if we're all going to the tapes, then we can't be the killers. Since Will and I accused Gabe and
Rebeca, that means one of us must be right." Logan said.
"Or this is all a setup." Cal mumbled.
"Huh?" Logan asked.
"Nothing. Listen, we'll take a look at the tapes in an hour. Everyone is staying cooped up in their rooms for
now, so we should have the ship to ourselves." Will said.
"Sounds like a plan." Logan said.
"Whatever you say." Cal said, walking out of the room.
