"Yo boss! We're in!" Gabe's data savant said after about twenty minutes.
"Good. Scan last night's video camera's for the captain's death." Gabe said. Instantly, the data savant's eyes
glossed over, then lit up. For the next few seconds, he sat perfectly still. Then, his eyes returned to normal
and he turned his head.
"Done. Midnight, by the pool." He said.
"Download them directly to my memory banks." Gabe said.
"Really boss? I mean, don't you just want me to play 'em for you?" The savant said.
"Don't question the Magos code rat. He knows what he's doing." One of Gabe's techguards said.
"At ease man, calm down. I just need to analyze this as closely as I possibly can." Gabe said.
"Consider it done." The savant said, cracking his knuckles. He pointed a finger at Gabe, causing a thin blue
light to stream from it. In moments, Gabe had perfect memory of the recordings.
"They're all really blurry." Gabe said.
"And those are the better ones. The cameras here all got the shit scrambled out of 'em." The savant said,
prompting one of the techguards to slap him.
"Watch your tongue." He grumbled.
"Seriously, what is up with you two? Whatever, is there any way you know of to decrypt the files?" Gabe asked.
"No, but I do have a different idea. The dude is clearly using some bitchin' cybernetics, pulling off that
little disguise. So, since he's probably the one who screwed around with the cameras too, maybe we can trace
the signature." The savant said.
"You can do that?" Gabe asked.
"Oh no, that ain't my thing. I just work with the filing. You three might be able to do it though." The savant
said, gesturing to Gabe and his guards.
"It would be my honor to assist you." One said.
"I heartily concur." The other joined.
"Yeah, that's real nice. You're Magos though, can't you do it better then them?" The savant said.
