Zack was drilling some of the new huskies in "surround and take down" pack tactics when he heard a buzzing from his implanted communications device. It was Katie. "Zack, we need to talk. The place we met before, remember? It's really important."
It wasn't like Katie to panic. What now, Zack thought. Ever since Naomi left, it seemed life at the Park was just an unending succession of crises. He quickly handed over control of the drill to one of the more experienced huskies present.

Tim heard from across the warren the unmistakeable sounds of Terry in ecstasy and smiled to himself. Even if she was willing to be a female rabbit-person on the outside--he had nearly forgotten that she was male as a human--trying to make Terry a one-buck doe was not going to be a good idea on multiple levels, even if it was a pleasant fantasy.

"Harry went off to a meeting with the management. His com-device is dead. It's not like he turned it off for the meeting. It doesn't go to voicemail, and I can't reach him on the emergency channel. He was really nervous about this meeting, too."
Zack and Katie were meeting at the place where Harry had set up meetings to avoid surveillance. They had carefully examined it with their enhanced anthro-canine senses (best of both worlds! Human color vision and canine sense of smell and hearing range!) and found it clean before opening the conversation.
"Oh great" said Zack. "Nobody's said anything to me about it." He wasn't going to waste time telling Katie it was probably just miscommunication. Both of them knew it wasn't.

Brian came across a dazed, wandering doe-morph that he recognized from the previous night. It wasn't uncommon for transformed people to be a little out of it, but this went well beyond any case that Brian had ever seen. "Chad?"
The doe's two glazed eyes turned in his direction without focusing on him. "It's Cherry now. That's all a weak little girl like me deserves. Master Vinny gave it to me. I don't deserve antlers, just a weak little female, only good for one thing."
Oh boy, what had happened here. "Are you OK? Did you take the berries? Did he hurt you?"
Cherry made a little face of disgust. "No berries! Going to give Master Vinny fawns!"
In all his time counseling transgender morphs, Brian had never seen anything like this. The closest would be the rabbits, but that was just an amplification of the sex drive. This went deeper, almost as if the doemorph had been drugged. This was some sort of psychological transformation from shock to extreme submissiveness. Brian considered Leticia a friend, and sometimes she expressed submissiveness to Jeremy, but not like this. Was there some kind of date-rape drug for does the new bucks were using? From what Brian had seen, he wouldn't put it past some of them, particularly that creep Vinny.
"Cherry" he said "Can I take you to get you examined by a doctor?" He muttered a quick prayer to Cernunnos that she wasn't pregnant.

Tears rolled down Naomi's fur. "I'm so sorry Charlotte, I'm so sorry. I thought we could trust him."
"It's OK, sweetheart, it's OK" soothed Charlotte. "We'll be fine." She felt the shuddering of the truck and wished that she could be sure of that.
