The remote buzzed to life.
INTIATAING STAR CROSSED LOVERS SCENERIO
"What the hel-"
Was all Cody was able to get out before reality seem to shift as the remote shot out a bright light. New memories filled his mind. Adam wasn't his best friend but his secret lover. They had been dating in secret but now because Adam's official lover getting suspicious times had been getting rough. Cody looked up and saw Adam. He seemed a little bit older and he seemed to have inflated a bit with muscle. Cody looked down at himself noticing that he had some lean muscle and a nice but to boot. A new surge of emotion surged through him as he realized that he and his lover ( who was his friend not to long ago) were in a fight.
"I can't just leave him! He has feelings too and I love you both!"
Adam was yelling at Cody and without even thinking Cody responded
"Yea but you love me more. You risk so much for me and can't give me up. Your just afraid of the risk because you can't trust me. You can't trust that I could be your true lover so you fall back on the safe route you coward!"
"It's not like that its...I didn't mean to hurt you..."
Adam was stammering and looking down...confused and unsure.
"Get out..just get out...don't talk to me until you can say you love me without being behind closed doors. Don't talk to me until you prove your love!"
Cody was furious. He couldn't stand it anymore. Adam wouldn't admit to his true feelings or worse perhaps he really didn't love Cody as much as he said he did hence why he can't prove it. Perhaps Cody wasn't worth the risk. These thoughts heart Cody and he couldn't take it anymore. Although he knew this was a reality created by the remote it felt real to him. He had memories of it all.
"Fine. I'm leaving..goodbye..I love you.."
"I'll love you when you can prove it to me."
Cody said as he slammed the door on Adam.
"Sigh..."
Cody walked over to the couch in his tight skinny jeans.
"I feel so...stupid. Here I am waiting on his every call devoted myself to him and he gives me so little in return. He says that he loves me and he does things that kinda prove it but he can never fully commit yet I still stay by his side and support him and love him...and I still do.."
Cody hung his head down.
"I still love him..I want to call him right now and telling him I'm sorry and all these other things but ugh...I can't...I can't go back to living in the shadows. If he can't commit to me then I can't just wait on him hoping he will...sad part is I don't know if I can stop waiting..."
Cody felt a tear roll down his face...
"Fate's been a real bitch to me."
