Roberto, the hulking jaguar-morph who headed the Minotaur's security, put his hand on his gun. "You're not going to cause trouble, are you?" His upper lip curled with the contempt he was finally free to express. "Grass-eater."

"What is going on here?" The voice cut through the haze of battle that was fogging Brian's and Vinny's brains. It was the voice of Jeremy.
"He was taking my doe!" yelled Vinny. "He wasn't even in the tournament!"
"She's drugged or something! I've never seen a transgender morph affect anyone remotely like this! Where are the huskies?" Brian responded.
Good question, Jeremy thought. "Is this true?" he asked Vinny. "Is she drugged?"

"No, of course not!" But Jeremy didn't find Vinny convincing. He turned to the doe in question. "What is your name, daughter of St. Giles?"
Cherry shivered. The authority in this one's voice was far deeper than the transitory glory of the winner of a buck fight. "Cherry" she curtsied, as much as someone who had been male until yesterday and human until last week could manage it.
He put a hand on her shoulder. A strikingly beautiful, queenly doe who looked somehow familiar came up and took Cherry's hands in hers. "Cherry, this is Leticia, queen of the deer. Tell her what happened to you." The two does moved away from the crowd.
Jeremy turned to the silent crowd of deer that was hanging on the outcome of events. "This tournament is over, by my authority as lord of the deer of Transformation Park."
Vinny glowered. He thought about challenging Jeremy, but after an exhausting round of combats topped off with the fight with Brian, was he in condition to take on a strong, healthy, fresh buck with immeasurably more fighting experience than he, even with his extra enhancements?

Zack and Katie exchanged glances. Now that Sherman had his subpoena, he had pretty much gone back to ignoring them, which seemed to be his attitude towards anthros generally. Time to go see what was up at the husky meeting.
The two lead huskies found a mess. Two factions, one led by Goldie, of all people, and the twins, were disputing control of the space with a smaller group composed entirely of new huskies.
Zack barked. All eyes turned to him. He looked at the nearest group of huskies, which had temporarily ceased their struggle, apparently awaiting, something?
"You" he said "Get a mop. This place is a disgraceful mess." The huskies hesitated, this clearly wasn't what they were expecting. "On the double!" barked Zack, and the huskies hurried off to the supply room.
"Now" Zack continued. "We've got the FBI at the gates of the park, so I don't have time to screw around. Goldie, what the hell is going on here? And where's Harry?"
