Jake projectile vomited over the lockers a blue gooey slime. He hadn't even drunk or eaten anything with blue food coloring in years. His body was his temple. How could he be spitting up something royal blue? The vomit stream hit Kenny in the head and flowed down his neck, shoulders and face. It moved unnaturally fast coating his entire body in what looked like blue latex. Sam stared with his jaw open, Kenny looked more like a giant smurf than a creature from Avatar. He stared as the naked blue boy started to shrink. Soon there was only a royal blue Speedo exactly Sam's size.
Watching from over the locker, Jake chuckled and sputtered, "Looks like Kenny is the bigger man, Sam. You going to try on that shiny new Speedo?"
"What the fuck did you do, Jake? And what happened to you?
"Apparently, I'm a bigger man too," Jake said striding around the lockers, which he was now slightly taller than. Some guy yesterday said "Bigger" to me, and now look at me. That's as much as I know. Then, Kenny here," he said picking up the Speedo,"Said he something about a bigger man providing you a Speedo, and I suddenly found myself upchucking blue gunk. None of which appears to remain on the lockers or floor. Here's your Speedo," Jake tossed Kenny to Sam.
Sam just stared, and held the Speedo with both hands in his lap.
"Go on put him on. I, mean, it's all like those fairy tales isn't it. Guy gets transformed and some girl kisses him, or he completes some heroic task or quest and he gets changed back. So unless you want your buddy to be a Speedo for life, you better wear him. Besides don't you have some sort of meet today to wear him to?"
"You're sure it will change him back?"
"No idea. Maybe wearing him will make you bigger?" sneered Jake, and he lumbered off toward his locker wishing that Kenny had been his size. Maybe he could get his friendly rival to volunteer to be his bigger man. He headed naked back toward the weight room grabbing three fresh towels to tie around his waist as a sort of loin cloth. Two would have worked, but he wanted some fabric to spare in case he grew again.
Dirk was right where he expected to find him. Dirk - who names their kid after as have A-Team actor or maybe it was the video game character?
"Hey, Dirk!"
"Jake, what happened to you?" Dirk said putting the small weights down that he had been using for curls.
"I got bigger. See!" he struck a bodybuilding pose and slowly turned around to show off his new giant physique. "Bigger everywhere if you know what I mean," he added with a wink.
"How?"
"Some guy. No drugs that I know of. Guess, he was a genie or something. He granted my wish to be bigger, but damn if I didn't outgrow my clothing. You know it would take a bigger guy than me to volunteer to be my living clothing that would grow or shrink with me? You're always saying your the bigger man, Dirk. So are you? Would you volunteer to be my living wardrobe?"
Dirk was still processing what Jake said, and not all of it was registering. He saw Jake yesterday, no one could grow that fast. But he was nearly naked, so it couldn't be a body suit or a trick. Then Jake challenged him to say he was the bigger man. Dirk opened his mouth.
