Just wish for it.
Just. Wish. For. It. And keep the love. What could that be?
Those four words lingered in Cal's mind. Just. Wish.... for it. Wish for it. Just.
"I wish... that..." The ice glowed. "I wouldn't sound like such a child any more."
Cal went back to sleep and woke up again in the morning. And his wish had been granted. His previously squeaky, childish voice had been replaced with something far more marvellous. It was deeper, gruffer. He sounded like a man, he didn't sound like a kid any more.
"Oh, Cal... don't worry. It's okay, you don't have to worry about it, son," his mother consoled.
"Mother... it's okay... it's just life, eh?" Cal said in his new voice. He loved it.

Radley.
Keep the love.
Callum got ready for another day at school. He grabbed his jacket, ready for any unexpected weather.
He didn't say goodbye to his mother that day.
Keep the love, Callum.
Keep. The. Love.
