Brett and his four buddies Carl, Tyler, Antonio and Mike were on their 10k run outside of their University when Tyler shouts to the team, "hey boys, let's go off track today, get a little wooded run in." The guys turn off the path and into the forest that surrounded their school. Tyler led the way, Carl following shortly behind him. "Nuthin' like gettin' a little run out in the woods," Tyler said.
"Yeah man," Brett answered, "good suggestion. I haven't done this in a year or two."
About a mile into their run off the track Tyler tripped over a tree root and fell to the ground. "Oh shit," Antonio said, running to Tyler's side, "you okay bud?"
"Yeah, just a fall, damn tree root," Tyler answered. As Brett and Antonio lifted Tyler up off the ground, their buddy, sliding the mud and dirt off of his track shorts and legs, Brett looked to hte left to notice an odd glare sparkling between two rocks. "Tyler, hey man do you see that thing over there?"
Antonio and Tyler moved their attention to the glare between the two rocks, the rest of the team following. Mike, always the curious one, began walking toward it. "It looks like a lamp, or something," he said.
Brett decided to follow closely behind, curious about the thing long lost here in these woods. "Yeah it does it looks like a lamp."
With the rest of the team surrounding Brett and Mike, Mike dislodges the lamp from the rock and examines it closely. "It's heavy, probably worth something. Could it be a hunter's lamp?"
Brett answers, "maybe but people don't use lamps when they hunt anymore. That's centuries old."
Carl chimes in, "well, when this was a frontier many natives and europeans used lamps when hunting for deer. I don't know guys it could be..."
Mike tries removing the top from the lamp but it's sealed shut. "I can't get it open, but it's so heavy it feels like there's something inside of it."
Mike hands the lamp to Brett who fiddles with it. "You guys seen Alladin? Ha!" Brett says. "It could be a genie..."
Antonio chimes in, "Rub it and find out!"
Mike looks to the lamp and puts his hand against the side, rubbing the lamp. It immediately heats up. "Oh shit!" Brett says, "it's shaking"
As the lamp raddles it turns from it's rusted orange to a deep red, then smoke starts billowing from the lamp as a gargantuon, smoke-filled creature rises from it. "Ohhhh!" the guys hear as they look up in awe. "Wow!" The creature says. "I'm awakened. How long has it been?" he asks, Stretching his red, muscular arms as the smoke settles over his slightly transparent body.
The creature must be a genie, Brett thinks. It's red, it's large, it's mostly naked except for a small loin cloth covering it's large and protruding package, but it's legs are nothing but a smoke stream connected to the lamp.
"A Genie?" Brett asks, the other guys frozen and in awe of the being.
"Why yes, my boy," the genie answers. I used to be a part of the Sioux clan many centuries ago. We spoke a different language then. You speak something foreign, something I've never heard before. But you're here and I'm here. I'm the all powerful Jenig and I can grant you, Brett, one wish. Since you're here with your friends and I can sense none of you are enemies, I will be able to grant all of you a wish as a group, if Brett so wills it."
Brett looks around to his friends. "Holy crap this thing IS real!" He exclaims. "What do you want me to ask of it?"
The guys are so excited they immediately begin suggesting things to Brett, "Money! Women! Athleticism!" but Antonio stops them. "Guys," he says, "why don't we ask for the genie's immortal powers, without being lamp-imprisioned ourselves, obviously," he turns to the genie, "no offense, sir..."
The genie laughs, "none taken my boy, I've been around on this plane of existence for longer than you can imagine, I happily take my place in this universe, and I happily grant Brett and all of you what you wish. My one warning, however, if it's power and control you seek, best not to let your human mind corrupt you over it. I've seen it happen many times..."
Brett looks back to Antonio. "We ask to have the powers to control people, to morph our bodies, to be attractive, to possess...what else?" he asks.
Antonio answers, "the genie is right, the five of us will have to keep ourselves in check, we'll be responsible for keeping each other reasonable. No doubt we'll want to abuse our powers, but we'll need to use them wisely. We can do selfish things of course, but no one can find out about them, and we can't destroy each other in the process."
The guys nod in agreement, smiles on their faces at what is to become of them. Brett turns back to the genie, "Genie, we as a group would like to have unbridled and supernatural powers. We'd like to be able to morph ourselves into anything, to have the power to change anything else, to have the knowledge and wisdom of the universe. Can you give us these powers while still retaining our freedom and our own consciousness?"
"Of course, boy, I can do that for all of you. You will find that transforming into this elevated plane of existence, you will no longer find the need for clothing. Your nakedness will allow you to use your powers unconditionally, for wearing clothing will bring you back down to a more human level."
"Let's take 'um off, boys!" Brett shouts as the group begins undressing. Brett pulls his shirt off and looks around to his team. They're all muscular guys, each with his own defined six pack. Tyler and Antonio are the hairy ones, dark complected skin with dark hair covering their pecs and abs. The guys kick off their shoes and socks, pull down their running shorts, and remove their briefs. Being running jocks, they've all been comfortable around each other in the nude, but the excitement of gaining these powers would have gotten them naked anyway.
"We're ready," Brett says. "Very well," the genie answers as he begins to dissolve himself into a smoke cloud of red electric power. The cloud circles around the guys and violently begins spinning. "Here we go..." Antonio says.
