"Maybe? I'm sorta wondering what else is here~" your tail swooshing in the air as you instinctually lean forward, in the air, floating like you're resting on a bed. You'll notice it sooner or later. Probably.
The mortal shrugs, "Eh, lot of places. This is the first stop for most people. Get all nice and changed and then it's off to other places. I mean, that succubus suit's near identical to the other dozen I've sold this year. You can get a lot more radical changes out in the mall."
Your eyes widen. Something inside of you is all but squeeing over the prospect. The idea of customizing your body is just massively hot to you. "Like...like what?" whispering.
"Eh, from clothes to full on changes. You're stuck as a demon and female. Rule one really; you have to stay in theme for what you picked."
You stop for a moment, and then eeeeep loudly, noticing your floating state, before falling on the ground in a heap. "Ooooow..." wincing as you look up at the woman. "W-what do you mean by theme?" after another minute.
"If you pick a costume, you generally stay within the bounds of the costume. Like, you won't ever be an angel, or male or really anything *other* than a demon. But you can be the sweet succubus next door that's only slightly sex hungry, a spoiled infernal princess, or a dread overmistress or whatever. Each store you visit might narrow your theme more, but it almost certainly won't broaden it."
"Uh...an example?" you fidget a little.
"So, lets say you visit Uniforms For All Occasions, it's a school uniform shop. If you buy something there, you're a schoolgirl. You could be at a normal school trying to fit in or pretending to be human, or at a demon school or whatever, but you're stuck as a schoolgirl. At that point, you're limited to a few stores that mesh well with the schoolgirl theme; Darkness, Sporting Dominion, The Brain Game, a few others. A trip to the body shop and you're on your way."
You blink a little. "Uh...so...w-where do I go?"
"Wherever you're needed really. The multiverse runs pretty heavily on narrative construction."
"Where should I go then?" You're back to floating, a few inches above the ground. It's pretty natural actually.
"Your choice, but honestly, I'd say Morningstar's if you want to get more demon-ish. Or pick a place that fits in with your personal aesthetic and go from there. If it's not for you, you won't feel right and you can just leave."
You chew that over for a few minutes. "You know, I think that's a good idea!" as you stand and...
