"My sister and I were on our way home from school, we had just moved from Romania, and it pretty much was a nice day. I love my sister, and am protective, at that time, I was a normal twelve year old boy.
"'Can we get some ice cream, James?' my sister asked.
"'Sure, Abby.' I reply. 'I suppose I have a soft heart when she asks for ice cream, anyway there we were, eating away at our ice cream and enjoying the day. Right until we bumped right into this fellow. He had dark hair and was short, compared to most people. But not as nice. He turned and sprayed us with some stuff. We had no idea what it was, and didn't care. I grabbed my sister's hand and ran right home. I got home, unaware of the changes that had happened.
"We got home and were greeted by our mother, who was drunk as usual, so I took my sister in to have her bath, as I did, I noticed a pitch black, yet poofy tail. My yell had to sober my mother right there and put her in mommy mode, for she came in and well, and hour later her babies were what you see before you.
"After that time, my sister and myself adjusted with the change well, our mother not so much. At that time our father had come home, but the gas had gotten him, so I guess that's when it became airborne. I do believe he had black fur, but anyway, first thing he did was what he always did, took our mother to their room. While they did that, I took Midnight, right to bed.
"Come morning my mother and father looked like our future selves, literally. I went to get my sister ready for school when the news hit, the newsman said, 'Due to an outbreak, the schools will be closing.'
About a month later the whole town was what it is now. We were now part of a pack, and happy. But the issue was, the packs wanted dominance. So one of the nearby packs attacked while we were asleep. No screams, no yells, when Mid and I woke, it was nasty. Everyone we knew were gone. Now I know why mom made us sleep where we did.
After awhile the whitish cat came up and helped us out, and that's what happened to us. I suppose the guy sprayed the stuff out of a machine on the tower." shi finished hir story looking at them.
"Would you be able to identify the man if you saw him again?" Charlie asked.
"I woul..." shi stopped, spotting the scientist who the lot met the first day. "It was him." shi pointed right at him.
The general looked over and had him apprehended. "Charlie," he said in his French accent, forgive me for how I treated you and your friends." he walked off to get some answers and deliver some punishment. Charlie looked at Luna, then to Midnight. "Well, when we're done here, should you two want a home, you're welcome to stay with me and my mate as long as you like. However, I may have a way you can help us. There's a spot in town, a jamming device, and we need it destroyed...." Charlie discussed the plan with hir, all things considered that shi was a wolf and could get in with less difficulty than Charlie or any of the others...
