Another couple of days pass by, and Alex has attended school for all of them. It was Thursday, which means that Jeffrey and Angela needed to change the powder in his vents. During school, Jeffrey and Angela walk into Alex's room to a surprise; there were no more clothes on the floor, whatsoever. Either they were all in his laundry basket or hanging in his closet. They easily found the vents.
"Wow, it is so clean in here! And even though there are still holes in the wall, a broken lock to the window, ripped curtains, and random stains on his sheets, this stuff is making some progress," exclaimed Jeffrey. He was glad that the powder ventilation was working in his room and not only Alex.
"Alex will be home any minute now. We need to do this fast," replied Angela. With that, Jeffrey removed the second vent cover in the room and put a little bit of the powder in that vent. They didn't want to use the same vent because there may be some left in it. "Ok, lets get out of here." After about ten minutes, Alex returned home, and was itching to say something that happened to him in school that day.
"Mom! Dad! Where the hell are you guys?" he said. His parents came around the corner of the front door. "Guys! The strangest thing happened in school today! All of my teachers started calling me Alexander and they acted like they always called me that. It was really fucking annoying." Over the next couple of days, he would come to only be recognized by that name, but for right now, he is still Alex.
"Well, I don't know what to say about that, that sounds fine to me and most likely your mother, too," his father responded.
"Ugh, whatever. I'm just going to go up to my room and do whatever right now, so talk to ya later..." said Alex. He, completely ignoring his parents, went up to his room and opened his laptop. He didn't notice that his laptop's background picture had changed to one of the normal scenery ones and that it was running much faster due to the viruses from porn websites not existing on his computer. For him, it worked as it always had. For the next couple of hours, he talked to some of his sex and drug adoring colleagues on Skype. However, as soon as they were about to invite him to their places for sex and drugs, the connection was lost. In addition to that, their names didn't show up in his contact list anymore. He sat there, confused as to what he was doing, 'Do I really not remember what I was doing?' he thought to himself. 'Man, this week has been so weird. I haven't even really been noticing what's been going on. All I know is that I need to do my homework.' He didn't even give it a second thought and started working on his homework for Friday. Also, everything he hadn't turned in magically became turned in on time and he had mostly Bs but some Cs in school.
