Once Molly made her wish, it started a ripple effect. From the undisclosed location that Meeghan and her were in started the worldwide change. And since the change needed to encompass the whole world, it took a few days for the entire world to be transformed. It started when a woman suddenly fell out of her dress and became a dog. People started screaming, but no matter how fast they ran on their two legs they all ended up on four. Humans driving or riding in automobiles almost stood no chance as they became canines. Most ended up getting in accidents or killing others. Airplanes going over the areas infected eventually crashed as the pilots couldn't work the controls anymore. While all of humanity became dogs, over 50% of the population was killed during the change. Those that weren't affected for the first couple of days devised ways to protect themselves and all failed. Some tried to barricade themselves in underground bunkers, but found themselves entombed because the wave hit them anyways and without thumbs couldn't escape. Many tried to escape to the oceans, but the wave still hit them causing ships filled with dogs to drift in the ocean. A select few were able to get a rocket ready to launch, but despite leaving the atmosphere they were still transformed and become dogs lost in space. Some prepared for the change while they could, buying (or in most cases stealing) dog food and other items they would need when they were dogs. Pregnant women suddenly became bitches and would give births to litters of pups. In fact the last original human born only got to enjoy humanity for a few brief seconds before him and his mother became dogs.
While humans were running in fear, dogs were becoming humans. Many dogs were injured or killed that were locked in kennels as they were crushed in the small confinements. Litters of puppies became bouncing babies as their mothers struggled to take care of them. Some older dogs had heart attacks during the transformation or died of human natural causes. Many reacted quickly and started to figure out what to do, while others quickly took advantage of their new bodies. Many orgies began as dogs were filled with lust as they adjusted to sex as humans. In fact over 75% of the new human population commenced their new lives by having sexual intercourse. While doggy style was still preferred, many had to adjust to missionary due to the anatomical changes. Some dogs chose to wear clothes, while others preferred being nude and no one called foul. Those dogs that didn't, became dogs of power as they ended up establishing the new world. In fact one dog stood above them all and she was made the leader of the new world. That happened to be Molly since she had complete power of the ring. Her and a select few were gathered to make the new laws for their new found humanity.
