Jenny and Joe both began to have a casual chat next to the printer, the fact they were kangaroos, and naked from the waist down, couldn't have been more normal to them. The humans around them found two kangaroos being office workers and in some of their cases their managers, again didn't so much as get an eye blink thanks to the changes to reality. Even the torn clothes that had resulted from their transformation had faded into nothing, never having been bought in the first place.
By willingly and knowingly putting it down and then walking away, and Dave having consciously and willing picked it up, the pen had effectively recognized Dave as it's new master. While the pen itself was not totally self aware, it was quite happy with a master who was more inclined to actually USE IT rather than just hold onto it.
The Pen itself was overwhelmingly powerful. And dangerous. Writing the wrong thing could backfire horribly. Thankfully the pen followed what the master of the pen MEANT when they wrote messages down, rather than trying to abuse the language.
For now having big paws, Amanda's shoes had changed size as well, but were indeed still high heels, and her pearl necklace was the only thing the lion woman was wearing. It also struck Dave that she was now 'bald' she had fur covering her head, but nothing else. Maybe that had to do with how only male lions had manes?
The neophyte wizard wrote down 'Amanda will come into my office, and she'll calmly answer any questions I have for her, will not think any of them, and leave without trouble, and no one will think anything strange of this.'
Amanda promptly got up from her office chair, and walked right in Dave's office and sat down calmly, crossing her legs and putting her paws in her lap, her tail swaying behind her.
"Hello Amanda."
"Hello Dave."
"So, what are you?"
"I'm a woman."
"Er, what you're species?"
"Er, leoman?"
Not all that stranger than having 'hu-man' for a species name. "Do you realize you're naked?"
"I'm not naked. I'm wearing my shoes and necklace."
"You realize you're not covering anything private?"
"What private? I have fur."
"Have you always been a leoman?"
"Since the day I was born last time I checked."
"What do you think of Jenny and Joe?"
"Jenny seems nice enough, we don't talk much. Joe is a complete bore."
"What's your favorite vegetable?"
"I'm carnivorous, I can't eat greens."
"You know Jenny and Joe are kangaroos?"
"Why would that matter? I'm not racist."
"Wouldn't that be specesist?"
"We're all people here. Well, except the telemarketers, but don't tell them I said so."
"I promise I won't. What's your favorite movie?"
"Coraline."
"Thank you for the answer Amanda."
"Welcome." She sat up without further comment and went back to her cubical and gave the discussion no thought at all.
Dave meanwhile was thinking, there were so many officer workers, so many ways to change them all. The little pen could seemingly do anything. And spicing up the genome of humanity sounded like fun too.
The neophyte wizard turned his eyes towards a new employee named Mikey who had just transferred in. He thought for a minute and wrote down 'Mikey will changed into a teenage blond monkey girl wearing almost nothing, named Mikki.'
And as Dave observed, Mikey changed. First his clothes dissolved, and began to race backwards in years, going into his twenties, then into his teenage years, at the same time breasts grew and his manhood vanished, while his figure became more feminine and lithe. Bright brown fur covered her entire body, as her feet turned into a second pair of hands, and a long tail emerged and snaked around her rear. Her ears became larger and rounder, and her face became pushed and rounded and her nose tiny. Long blond hair grew from her head that became joined in pigtails. A pink beret appeared on her head, at the same time she was now listening to a small walkman.
Her office blurred, and now she was working a second keyboard using her feet to type on it and using her tail to write things down with a pencil.
"Keep up the good work Mikki." Another office worker said walking by, she just nodded to acknowledge she had heard him, not breaking pace.
