Without a second thought, Kyle lifted himself off of the bed so he could stand. The left side of his body was heavy because Dave wasn't expecting to move so suddenly. Dave was pulled up so fast he hardly had time to react. Their left arm flailed about to keep balance, while their left leg moved uncertainly. Kyle grabbed their chest as they started to lean forward, and instinctively moved his foot ahead, but Dave tried to lean backwards. In the span of a few seconds, the boys tried to learn who's foot should go where, all the while stumbling in place. They both panicked and soon found themselves sprawled out on their back on the bed.
Dave turned his head to Kyle and glared, giving his head a push, "What the fuck man? What the hell was that about?!"
Kyle hoisted them up to sit again, but this time, Dave stayed down, leaning on his elbow. "Sorry, I guess I just sort of forgot."
"Forgot? How could you forget, I'm right here?!"
"Ya, I know! You don't need to yell!" Kyle screamed back, and gave their body a shove. They sat staring at each other for a moment before Kyle turned away, "I just didn't realize we wouldn't be able to walk like this."
Dave made them take a few deep breathes in order to calm down some more, "Well ya. You control that half and I control this half. And somehow we have to move them as one." Kyle looked back at Dave and nodded grimly.
Slowly they stood up again. With their arms out for balance, and encase they fell. The two boys slowly made their way to the other side of room and back. They fell once or twice, but after ten minutes of practice, they were getting the hang of it. They were stumbling their way back towards the bed when the door opened, causing them to turn and freeze.
