"Oh cool, we'll stop by the face painter before tomorrow night" replies Alexis
"Ok" Gitsy says a little disappointed
Alexis and Jon have a last beer with Gitsy and Maki before heading back to the hotel. They enter the room, strip down and start to wash off the makeup but stop. Washing the makeup off their faces just felt wrong, the makeup reflected who they were and how they felt now. The sight of themselves naked with their clown faces on turned both of them on, Alexis turned to look at Jon and found all of him standing at attention. It was too much for both of them and they had a love making session right there on the bathroom counter before Jon carries Alexis into the bedroom for another never pulling out of her. The two collapsed in exhaustion and slept most of the day. With much reluctance they got up out of bed after one more love making session and headed into the bathroom for a shower together. As they got out of the shower they got a heart stopping shock as they saw themselves without the clown faces. Both of them did not recognize themselves anymore. They stood there staring at their reflections for a long time both Jon and Alexis had the urge to quickly apply the makeup again to recapture the feeling that they had gotten use to over the last two days.
"Let’s go over to the face painting booth" Jon says finally
Alexis quickly agrees and both dress quickly. Jon asks at the front desk for directions to the face painting booth and they hail a cart and head there. The cart pulls up in front of an old circus tent with a simple sign saying FREE surrounded by different animal heads. Both of them thank the driver and head into the tent. All around the tent clowns are painting people’s faces in different designs. Alexis hears animal sounds coming from the back and guesses that this is close to the animal cages for the circus. They walk around the tent and find people not only getting their faces painted but some are getting their entire bodies painted, some just their torso but some had stripped down to nothing and was getting EVERYTHING painted. One man was getting spots added to his leopard body paint job. He got up and looked in a fully length mirror and growled before going behind a curtain.
Two clowns wave them over to sit down "what can we do for you two today" Alexis feels a rush of excitement at the prospect of becoming a clown again.
"We would like to become clowns please" she blurts out with Jon nodding in agreement
"Great, we always like new recruits. What type of clowns do you want to be?"
Alexis and Jon pause and look to each other, suddenly not sure.
One of the clowns speaks up to be helpful "The whiteface is the more serious clown, a straight man for the other clowns, always delivering the jokes and gags, being the leader of the troupe; The auguste are the energetic clowns, they pull pranks and gags and receive them also, they are in middle class of the troupe; The Hobo clowns are always down on their luck, unsure of themselves, they receive most of the jokes and gags in the troupe. Alexis and Jon look at each other and make a decision
