Roger was more puzzled than ever as he stood there, holding a glow stick for some strange guy's mystery experiment. His attention kept being drawn back to the
doll. What kind of guy had a life sized and very realistic asian female latex doll? And what was it used for? Roger couldn't help but think of the obvious conclusion.
He was about to ask more about this experiment when Roger felt odd and warm. He looked at Mai and his heart lept! Suddenly it no long mattered that she was a
doll. She was the most gorgeous girl he had ever seen!
Forgetting Mark was even in the room, Roger stepped closer to the goddess in front of him. He had to express his love, but what words could convey his feelings?
"You.... you're beautiful," he stammered. "I've never met any woman like you. You're breathtaking." He dropped to his knees and pressed the side of his face
against one of her smooth legs. "Oh Mai, let me love you. Let me worship you! I can't live without you. Let me show you my eternal devotion to your beauty."
A moment later, Roger blinked, suddenly realizing he had been spouting words of romance to a love doll. Even worse, he was about to start kissing her foot.
"What the hell?"
"Needs some fine tuning to avoid such a severe reaction, but it works," Mark said.
Roger sprang to his feet, confused and a bit angry. "What the hell was that? What did you do to me?"
"It's a Love Inducer," Mark explained. "I've almost got it perfected, but I needed to see how well it was working. It can cause the target to feel intense love for
anyone. Or anything, in the case of Mai here. For this prototype, the target must be in close contact with the special receiver."
"The glowing thing?" Roger asked.
"Exactly. But when I complete the advanced version, the 'glowing thing' shouldn't be needed anymore."
Roger was so impressed he forgot he was upset. An invention that could make anyone fall in love? It sounded impossible, but considering a minute ago he was in
love with a doll, there was no denying it worked. "When do you expect to have the advanced version ready?"
"Hmmm? Oh, it will be a while. Couple of weeks at least."
